I’ve drafted back and forth with people quite a lot without speaking. I’m of the opinion that if you can barely eek by me and I kinda stick to you, you’re fine with it esp if you start pointing stuff out. In that case, I don’t get full draft bc I’m prob 5 ft off. But I’ll also pass back and share the load. Usually we when someone peels off, someone will yell good ride. If you blow by me quick or don’t give signals, I get that you’re not into it. If someone hangs on my wheel and I don’t like it, I’ll drop them on a short climb and they can’t catch up. You did nothing wrong.

A couple days ago I was harassed by a TN state trooper, basically I was riding in the right lane while it was empty around 12:30am, just got off work. Bro turns around to come tell me how easy I can die which ik and then he kept telling me to shut up or he was gonna arrest me. I filed a complaint and their doing an investigation. I was fully lit up with my lights on blink and was doing about 25-30ish. Bro told me I need to keep my ass on the shoulder yet the shoulders in Bedford county are littered with trash, glass, broken car parts, gravel and dead animals and trucker alligators. On 25mm tires? Gravel and glass ain't ideal.

Completely agree with you on this. I had a similar situation happen where I approached a couple who were riding together one day and they were clearly riding at a slower pace than I was. I called out ‘on your left’ and passed but the guy for some reason decided to jump on my wheel and left his wife behind! I looked back and saw him on my wheel but he didn’t say anything. I could tell he was struggling to hold my pace and I was similarly annoyed that he just jumped on without saying anything. So after a few minutes I decided to crank up the pace and drop him. After all, his wife was probably more annoyed than I was 😅

Eat after your bike ride.. not during.. digestion stops when we are doing physical activity. You can drink though during a ride like juice or one of those fruit pouches.

Id suggest a better container to shape the rice slab better (only for shape purposes) as well the wrapping paper should be parchment paper as the foil may stick depending on the texture. I will try your recipe, I can imagine with all that sugar they would turn out rather sweet

I have a T2 Classic with the 2 bike add on. To mount the 4 bike setup I recommend starting with the "Add On" disconnected and only mounting the Rack, then once in the hitch receiver with the rack in the down position now mount the "Add On" rack. There are only two bolts to secure the "Add On" to the rack. At this point you may find it easer to put the rack in the vertical position to add and tighten the two bolts. It's a lot easier to manage alone both from the standpoint of lifting and aligning. And I don't always need the 4 bike setup. This is my recommendation.

I ride in the country. I don’t care about the sound being elegant and high quality. Don’t care about the microphone. I listen to audio lectures of all sorts, so What I really care about is the noise canceling. The wind noise cancels out the sound in AirPod Pros and Sony 4000 and 5000 mx. and both are uncomfortable after 30-40 minutes. Bose QC ultras are the best that I’ve tried for noise cancellation and they are reasonably comfortable. Suggestions anyone?

I live in Tucson and ride almost exclusively on the road. It's not bad, it's awesome! There are some drivers who don't give much space but many who do and when you have so many cyclists driving you have a pretty good shot at a cyclist watching out for you.

Co2 only if your racing other than that stick with the pump. If using tubes co2 leaks through the rube and if tubeless there are other issues that need to be avoided and they are only a one shot deal.

Wow, thanks for going through the pain of testing AXS cassette on 12 speed Di2. There is a ton of misinformation out there regarding this exact combo, especially on Reddit. A lot of people say it works flawlessly. I had a bunch of parts in my Amazon cart and was about to drop a mint on something that had no chance of working. Seeing a video on exactly how poorly it performs was eye opening. You just saved me a bunch of heartache, money, and especially time! Thank you so much.

Apple wired in-ear headphones, both ears, Not dangerous, in fact it is actually easier to hear and I find the headphones remove some of the wind noise and I can better hear cars coming behind me, I've done this in Sydney Australia for at least 10 years with massive traffic and in Europe where there is way less cars in remote areas with little traffic. Having headphones in ears but not playing anything, there is absolutely no issue. I play music or listen to youtube playlists and audiobooks. Don't know about other headphone brands or types YMMV.

It is relatively simple and called caloric deficit. If you eat more than your body needs in terms of energy, you gain weight. If you eat less, you loose weight... In simple terms, theres no difference what your calories are made of except that you can eat far more with non-dense caloric foods (for example vegetables). So what to do? How do i know how much calories I need? Well, hard to say but there are lots of calculaters out there. Keep in mind that theres a base-need, thats what you body needs to maintain and run its basic tasks/to function. On top of that, you have to add your activity calories. For example: You have a basic metabolic rate of 1800 calories + 500 calories from your daily movement and sports To maintain your current weight, you have to eat 2300 calories. To Gain weight, just eat 200-300 calories more To loose weight, eat 200-500 calories less (500 should be max because to much of a deficit will harm you more in the long run and supports so called jojo-effect). A healty drop rate would be around 8.8 ounces (around 250 grams ) per week or between 1 and 1.5 kg a month. Also keep in mind that you have lots of water stored in your body. Eating lots of salty food and carbohydrates will store more water in your body which can lead to wheight gain just over night. Best will also be not to just look at your weight but also take measures of your belly. when loosing fat but gaining muscle, you'll gain weight because muscles are more dense than fat. But - as simple as it get's - thats the "whole trick". Eat a loot of protein - it needs more energy for the body to process it. Also, it prevents cravings much longer Eat lots of vegetables - fibers are good for your digestion and have lots of vitamins eat carbohydrates. They are the fuel for the ride BUT try to eat "healthy" CH. Try to prevent to eat lots of fats with loads of calories. Instead, combine fat with protein or carbohydrates with protein but never eat no fats. Just try to find a good and healty ratio. Proteins are, what makes you saturared - for more than an hour :D - and gives your body what he needs to maintain lean mass. Carbohydrates also gives you energy BUT should be "good" carbohydrates (rye, whole grain etc). For gaining weight: Eat more than you burn Loosing weight: provide less energy than needed Try to eat healthy, eat less than you need when wanting to loose weight, eat more when gaining weight is what you want. In the end, you can eat 10 snickers bars and have 2000 calories and loose weight (as long als your body consumption is higher). Is it healty? no..but would work (for a short period). Can you still eat your fries? absolutely..... the key to all of this is changing your habbits. this only works when doing it slowly and with fun / without giving up to much. It's kind of a marathon so start slowly... try to get used to it and be honest to yourself. Its ok to eat some treats as long as you calculate them into your daily intake :) Good look for this journey! :)
